about

ALL PROFITS from this special single will be donated to the Jimmy Fund in Terry Francona's name as a tribute to all that he was for the Red Sox team, its fans, and the city of Boston, MA

The Jimmy Fund supports the fight against cancer in children and adults at Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Find out more at www.jimmyfund.org

This song is reactionary journalism. It was written in response to the events that unfolded during and following the most epic collapse the Red Sox have had in the month of September. We sincerely miss Terry Francona and this song is a tribute to all he did over the years and the circumstances leading to his departure.

Thank you for supporting the Jimmy Fund, The Guilty Party, and of course, Terry Francona!

Our last charity project was an album Julian produced for Japan that raised over $1,000 for Save the Children. You can check that out here: www.album.musicforjapan.org

Track Name: Changing Sox
Changing sox
Red for white
The park down the road
Used to glow bright
It remains green
But now we’re all blue
We were used to losing
Just not losing you

Goodbye Terry
Thanks for all you’ve done
It took them 86 years
And it only took you one

This past September
A month we’d like to forget
They said they wouldn’t rest
That’s an ad they must regret
Beers in the clubhouse
Not denied it must be true
If you roll your eyes at Tito
We will roll our eyes at you

Everyone swings
Sometimes we miss
Breaking ball in the dirt
Now it’s come to this
Ted Williams weeps
From somewhere up above
After the storm
We lay down the bat and glove

Goodbye Terry
Thanks for all you’ve done
It took them 86 years
And it only took you one.
